WE ARE OFFICIALLY IN THE RED TIER!
7th & 8th Return Tomorrow Wednesday, March 17th
Middle School Parents,
Many of our students have expressed that they have been given a choice by their parents regarding their return to campus. Furthermore, it seems as if this choice may be primarily based on which of their classmates are returning to campus and which are not. As parents, we always try and make the best decisions for our children and we strongly urge you to consider the benefits of having your student return to in-person learning. A number of our students are suffering academically and/or emotionally and although some students may have done well academically during distance learning, nothing can replace the social skills and live support the students receive from in-person learning, from both their teachers and their peers.
During COSL we have witnessed higher absenteeism rates, less student work completion, and students unwilling to verbally & visually participate in daily classes. Although our amazing middle school teachers are there for them, we would love to be able to fully support them in person!
Currently, we have Preschool-6th grade on campus and we couldn’t be more thrilled to hear our students’ laughter, see their smiles and feel their enthusiasm to be back in their classrooms, with their friends and teachers. It has been a year now since we have seen our little Angels and we can’t wait to have our whole school return to complete our Angel family.
I welcome you to call our office and speak with me or Mrs. Rodriguez if you should have any concerns or hesitations about your student’s return. We believe it is time for our students to return to their daily routines and gain some sense of normalcy for the last few months of school. I thank you for your support during this time and ask you to continue to pray for all students returning to school this year.
