OLPH School Parents/Guardians,
We appreciate your patience. After observing what worked and what didn’t, we have adjusted the system. Effective immediately, parents with students in grades TK-2nd will park and line-up at the gate to be checked in. Afternoon pick-up will work the same, park and line up at the gate and we will release your child to you. The 3rd & 4th grades will have the same system when they begin on Monday, March 15, 2021.
You will still need to ensure your student’s health screening form is completely filled out before arriving. We will have extra forms available, however, you will not be allowed to fill it out at the check-in table. You will be asked to go to the back of the line to allow for a faster check-in.
WHAT IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE CHILDREN AT OLPH?
In the morning, parents have an option of dropping off their students in the drive-thru line (off of Miles Street) or park and check-in at the front gate. (Drive-thru will be open beginning on Monday 3/15.)
In the afternoon, due to CDC requirements, we are not allowed to mix the grade-level groups. Therefore, if you have a child in grades TK-4th and a child in 5th-6th, you will need to park and pick up all siblings from the front gate. A staff member will be informed to send your older child over to the front gate.
Our primary reason for reopening in a staggered schedule is for the safety of the students and the ability to observe and adjust the process as needed. We appreciate your support and patience during this time.
Thank you.
