Kindergarten – 8th Grade
Our Lady of Perpetual Help School is the only Catholic school in the eastern Coachella Valley. True to its mission statement and school philosophy, its greatest contribution to the community is its commitment to providing an affordable, high-quality education in a Catholic Christian atmosphere. Dedicated members of the school community work together with students’ families so each student grows spiritually, mentally, and academically to become life-long learners, effective communicators, responsible people, and worldwide citizens.
Today, approximately 200 students receive an accredited, faith-based education each year in Grades K-8. Subjects in our K-8 curriculum include:
- Religion
- Family Life and Sexuality
- Language Arts
- Reading, Literature, and Phonics, depending on the grade level
- Mathematics, Pre-Algebra, and Algebra
- Science
- Health and Nutrition
- Music and Dance
- Art
- Physical Education
- Social Studies
- Spanish in grades 6-8
- Computer Studies and Technology in grade 1-8
Weekly Mass attendance and classroom and school-wide prayer services also continue to be an important part of the school’s culture and everyday life as an OLPH student.
