Parents and Guardians,

We know that these times of uncertainty have become frustrating and overwhelming for many and as we transition to our new FACTS communication system. We apologize if you haven’t received communication from OLPH School, as we did encounter technical issues.  As you know OLPH was preparing to fully reopen with CDC requirements in place on August 24th, 2020. However, on Friday, July 17, 2020, Governor Newsome stated in-person instruction will not occur for all schools, public or private, within counties on the California watch list. Once we are off the watch list for 14 consecutive days, we will return to the school campus for onsite learning.

In the meantime we will begin our school year with Catholic Online Synchronous Learning (Live Distance Learning). This will be a universal platform across our school. Online Synchronous Learning will be a form of real-time access to instruction with real-time support for our students. We are exploring options and working on the proper permits to allow TK and Kindergarten classes to begin on-site. We will keep you updated on the progress. Preschool will be available on-site; however, class sizes are limited to 10 students per class.

You will receive further information and a detailed schedule for our Online Synchronous Learning Program once it is finalized and ready to launch. We appreciate your support during this time and urge you to reach out if you should have any questions. Please keep an eye out for further information. Many blessings to you and your family. We can’t wait to see our OLPH Angels!
