Chromebooks with chargers and any tablets with chargers will need to be brought back with the student on their first day of school.Textbooks and any other books will be brought back upon the date the teacher requests.
Will OLPH Serve Hot Lunch?
During the month of March, we are asking parents to pack a snack and lunch for your student. Please pack them something easy to open and close. Emergency lunches will be available. However, if a student needs one, $5.00 per lunch will be added to your family account on the parent portal.
Hot lunches will be available to preorder in the month of April.
Will Students be Required to Wear Uniforms?
Although we are asking that students wear uniforms, we know this year has been challenging, and we will continue to work with parents for the remainder of the school year. Uniform colors are preferred – grey, white, and navy polos or shirts (school logo not required) with navy bottoms. Mass uniforms are not required at this time.Sweaters or jackets should also be solid navy or grey.
If your child does not have any uniforms or the preferred colors, please contact Mrs. Covarrubias.
Catholic Online Synchronous Learning or In-Person Learning?
COSL and in-person learning are our current options for students. However, keep in mind that students remaining in COSL TK-5th will be returning to a full-day schedule. The full-day may be tiring for students who remain online.
Students will have their normal recess/snack and lunch break but will be expected to log back on after lunch.
If you find the full-day online instruction difficult for your child, please contact your child’s teacher and make arrangements with them to ensure your student does not fall behind and their grades are not affected.
Please contact your student’s teacher if you should have any questions.
Student Supply List
Teachers will be sending home a supply list for your child. Please ensure you have all items as students will keep their supplies at their desk for personal use only. Important items to remember are:
- Personal water bottle (water fountains will be closed)
- Small backpack with snack and lunch
- At least 2-3 masks
Please avoid having students bring a large backpack to school.
